Open Letter Series: Let’s Talk Of Our Millennia Old and Generational PTSD

One cannot fight evil with evil. The neutralization of evil can only occur through an inward motion. Physical retaliation is only acceptable at an individual level (for self-defense only) but it works otherwise for a group and nations. This explains as why wars are only becoming more lethal as time goes. The group is always an illusion since each individual is a fractal of the Whole. Reality is holographic. The spinning atoms and galaxies are same.

If we take a sincere and closer look, to some degree, we all mimic our parents’ relationship history which themselves repeat that of their own parents and so on. Unresolved conflicts are passed on from a generation to the next. The irrefutable evidence, since it also occurs on a grand scale, is that societies do the exact same thing, and this with the ensuing disastrous consequences.

The Collective, the Mind Matrix, simply highlights the fact that unresolved conflicts at an individual level always impacts the whole and unless each human becomes aware of his own Fear Of Being, the Mind Matrix, cannot improve, and even worse, is the root cause of social upheavals. Just like people undergoing a couch therapy lamenting about their parents, masses whine about social and geopolitical issues.

War is ultimately a PTSD syndrome passed on to a generation to the next and it is quite discombobulating when realizing that  many feel comfortable with the idea that we cannot prevent them, that they are mere facts of life… or acts of God.  Because of this PTSD syndrome, military endless escalation  is really puzzling in the sense that loving parents see no problem with their children going to die for the sake of special interests, all wars being profit driven using the words “peace and democracy” to obtain the consent of the masses.

Ending war will thus demand that we understand the origins of our millennia old and generational PTSD and come to term with it. The PTSD is rooted in the Fear of Being that makes us want to escape from Freedom. Hence perpetuating our servitude.   War is the glue that holds all social contractions together. There are many human rights organizations whose goals are the focus on humanitarian aid as the result of war and even claim the virtue to impose peace by arms.

So the only choices for man is either Enlightenment or self-made extinction due to the inexorable and exponential trend of technology. The mindset hasn’t changed for about millennia but the ‘art of killing’. Today, it is possible to annihilate the planet in a few minutes. And it seems like it is the path the world is taking if man keeps failing to realize that his lack of Empathy and Self Love are at the core of the issue.

Revolt doesn’t answer a thing. You must understand it, go into  it, examine it, give your heart and your mind, with everything that you have, to find out a way of  living differently. That depends on you, and not on someone else, because in this there is no teacher, are the teacher and the pupil; you are the Master; you are the  guru; you are the leader; you are everything. And to understand is to transform what is. I think that will be enough, won’t it?  — Jiddu Krishnamurti
